摘要: This present study was undertaken to examine treating effects of St. John's Wort (SJW) extract on nociceptive perception STZ-diabetic animals based its potential antidiabetic and antinociceptive activities. One week administrations SJW (125 250 mg/kg) induced significant decrease in high blood glucose levels three weeks rats improved their dysregulated metabolic parameters. In addition, treatment caused restoration the mechanical hyperalgesia diabetic animals. These findings provide a rationale for traditional use against diabetes display this plant as new drug candidate/source pain.
