摘要: Recent advances in acid–base physiology and the epidemiology of disorders have refined our understanding basic control mechanisms that determine blood pH health disease. These refinements also brought parity between newer, quantitative older, descriptive approaches to physiology. This review explores how new older can be reconciled combined result a powerful bedside tool. A case based tutorial is provided.
