摘要: Breast cancer is the most common form of amongst women. Women with breast frequently consult dietitians for advice, and increasingly advice on complementary alternative medicines (CAM). The aim this systematic review was to evaluate evidence CAM administered orally cancer-related outcomes. Databases were searched studies recruiting women a history reporting use as tablets, capsules, powders, liquids any 1 or more following: alleviation symptoms treatment side effects, improvement quality life, physical emotional wellbeing, survival, mortality. Twenty-two identified meeting inclusion criteria. Ten categories established no than 4 articles published in each category. Although varying there some data support that guarana Ganoderma lucidum may improve fatigue, whereas glutamine also be effective improving oral mucositis symptoms. Overall, current available inconclusive make definitive recommendations regarding effectiveness individuals' cancer. Further high-quality randomized controlled trials exploring safety, toxicity, other potential adverse effects are required.
