摘要: Aim This study was designed to investigate the current epidemiological situation of bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) and rift valley fever (RVFV) infection camels originating from Sudan "smuggler" Egypt as part our future plan for a national surveillance program in Egyptian provinces, which will aid establishment control strategy animal diseases. Materials methods investigation accomplished using serological diagnostic molecular biology techniques. A total number 200 blood samples were collected camel (120 originated 80 local breed) subjected testing both BVDV RVFV occurrence with different age sex. Results Sixty-six (33%) positive antibodies, 44 (22%) antigen (Ag), 27 (13.5%) immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies. On other hand, seroprevalence antibodies (47.5%), Ag (31.6%), IgG (16.6%) higher than breed 11.2% 7.5% Ag, while it 8.7% The incidence highest male, up 9 years age. frequency cases significantly according origin sex RVFV. In addition, seven serologically five submitted buffy coat detection by one-step - reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). results demonstrated that three (smuggler), no detected all samples. Sequencing phylogenetic analysis amplicons obtained RT-PCR (three samples) indicated 100% nucleotide homology strain 2015 except only one (missense point mutation) substitution T at position 345 changed coded amino acids (Threonine) S (Serine) residue 115. Conclusion Camels act risk animals introduction many infectious diseases Egypt, especially transboundary diseases, so strict quarantine measures should be taken during importation live prevent spread such
