摘要: Fosfomycin trometamol (FOT), a new soluble salt of fosfomycin, was developed especially for single-dose treatment in uncomplicated urinary tract infections. In this study, the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) FOT were measured both nutrient broth and human urine compared with calcium pipemidic acid cotrimoxazole. A total 300 bacterial strains different species from recent infections studied. Staphylococcus aureus showed lowest MIC (0.38 micrograms/ml) Pseudomonas spp. highest (50 fosfomycin salts broth. The resulted being higher than those cotrimoxazole against Escherichia coli Proteus rettgeri lower all other considered. values increased about ten times when used as medium. No differences observed between two salts. 137-1500 micrograms/ml, easily obtained healthy adult subjects after single dose (3g fosfomycin), able to kill strains, exception Streptococcus faecalis. adhesion resistant microorganism (P. aeruginosa) cells tract, 50% reduction treatment.
