摘要: By use of small-angle X-ray scattering it is shown that addition alkali halide salts in small amounts (0–200 mM) shifts the repeat spacing multilamellar DC13PC vesicles and alters anomalous swelling behaviour close to main transition. Both effects follow Hofmeister series ions. We suggest shift can be explained by ion on van der Waals attractive forces between membranes decay length repulsive hydration force. The terms a critical unbinding membranes. proximity temperature transition tuned varying concentration type salt sample.
