摘要: Mossbauer effect studies on the 105.3 keV transition of 155Gd using single line source and absorber combination SmPd3 GdCo2 have shown that previously reported narrowing in linewidth is due to formation antipeaks spectrum. These occur spectrum at positions which correspond maximum resonant absorption 86.5 radiation 155Gd. They are observed a very low amplifier output count rate 6 kHz corresponds multichannel analyzer recording 200 counts per channel minute for The were not present after attenuating with thallium acetate filter. resultant transition, correcting finite thickness, was found be Γ0=1.129 mms−1 comparison theoretical value 1.112 calculated from lifetime energy level.
