摘要: A multilayer waveguide-based antenna radiator is proposed to achieve a wide operational bandwidth of high gain and efficiency in compact size. It $2\times 2$ array, consisting feeding waveguide, matching cavity, radiating aperture. The design provides sufficient freedom for the broadband impedance matching. In order improve radiation avoid drawbacks from traditional machining techniques, binder-jetting process using metallic particles adopted realize relatively complicated structure. This 3-D metal-direct-printing technique competent fabricate structures with precision. Experimental results are favorably compared fabrication by technique. measured relative VSWR $\leq1.5$ 23.7% (13.0–16.5 GHz). 90% obtained at center frequency, more than 80% can be maintained over 2.3-GHz bandwidth. paper shows that printing promising manufacturing approach realizing high-performance antennas microwave components.
