摘要: The effect of kadosero , a crude mineral used by traditional healers as supplement to plant extracts against microbial infections was evaluated. A sample from local market both analyzed for its basic composition and role on bioactivity extract. Titrimetric, Gravimetric Atomic Absorption Spectrometric analyses were determine contents the . Disc Diffusion Assay screening in-vitro. Chemical analysis revealed presence (0.0038mg/g), Fe2 (0.0027mg/g), Cl- (232.683mg/g) Na+ (151.25mg/g). In-vitro tests that supplementing extract Balanites aegyptiaca with using untreated well water reduced number bacterial 100 colony forming units nil at mass between 60-100 mg. On other hand, did not increase B. test microbes in agar disc diffusion assay. This attributed interaction nutrient medium. can be supplemented locally treatment general increased bioactivity. Further study is recommended mechanisms vulnerability this supplement. Keywords : supplement; extract; African Journal Traditional, Complementary Alternative Medicines Vol. 4 (1) 2007: pp. 1-6
