Effect of Ghrelin on Hepatic IGF-Binding Protein-1 Production.

摘要: Ghrelin plays key roles in energy homeostasis by central and peripheral actions that include effects on insulin signalling pathways liver. Insulin is an important inhibitor of production hepatocytes insulin-like growth factor-binding protein-1 (IGFBP-1) which has endocrine role to inhibit IGF availability. The ghrelin, insulin, AMPK activator, IGFBP-1 secretion were studied H4-II-E rat liver cells. (100 nM) blocked the inhibitory effect a maximally effective concentration (10 ng/mL) during 5 h incubation period () absence presence inhibitor. Ghrelin, alone, had no production, but enhanced independently under conditions activation (). In conclusion, identified as novel target ghrelin action may contribute its metabolic obesity.
