摘要: Mutations in the LIS1 gene cause gross histological disorganization of developing human brain, resulting a brain surface that is almost smooth. Here we show protein co-immunoprecipitates with cytoplasmic dynein and dynactin, localizes to cell cortex mitotic kinetochores, which are known sites for binding dynein. Overexpression cultured mammalian cells interferes progression leads spindle misorientation. Injection anti-LIS1 antibody attachment chromosomes metaphase plate, chromosome loss. We conclude participates subset functions, may regulate division neuronal progenitor brain.
