摘要: ABSTRACT This study explored the use of a problem-based learning (PBL) approach for teaching information and communication technology (ICT) skills to first-year students. Two questions were posed. The first addressed ICT skill needs 20 students enrolled in composition course. second focused on PBL facilitate acquisition. Both qualitative quantitative data collected analyzed. Results indicate that instruction was most useful when: (1) defined/interpreted by recalling prior knowledge experiences; (2) those interpretations tested, refined, rejected, or revised specific purpose; (3) access resources tools (artifacts, symbols, language) readily available; (4) formative feedback supported critical thinking about retrieval process. These findings provided important insights into using reinforce learning.
