摘要: In this cross-sectional study, sagittal knee laxity and isokinetic strength of extensor flexor muscle groups were measured differences related to leg dominance evaluated. A total 44 healthy male soccer players (who had trained regularly at least for the last five years) sedentary people as their control counterparts involved in study. All participants tested using a KT-1000 arthrometer laxity. Isokinetic concentric peak torque hamstring/quadriceps (H/Q) ratio also 60, 180, 300 degrees/s through Cybex 2 - 340 dynamometer. Posterior non-dominant side was significantly higher than dominant (p < 0.005) while there no significant anterior anteroposterior (total AP) both groups. Soccer lower AP values controls 0.0001) difference between posterior sides. Dominant extremity demonstrated H/Q 180 degrees /s 0.05). Similarly controls, 60 that ratios subjects extremities. groups, correlations except weak negative correlation 0.005, r = 0.43, p 0.05, 0.39, 0.32 respectively) 0.32) controls. less flexors extensors compared found be group. Further prospective studies are needed explain whether increased decreases risk ligamentous injury.
