摘要: For assessment of genetic association between single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and disease status, the logistic-regression model or generalized linear is typically employed. However, testing for deviation from Hardy-Weinberg proportion in a patient group could be another approach genetic-association studies. The one most important principles population genetics. Deviation among cases (patients) provide additional evidence SNPs diseases. To develop more powerful statistical test studies, we combined about case subjects standard regression approaches that use control subjects. In this paper, propose two combining such information: mean-based tail-strength measure median-based measure. These measures integrate logistic Hardy-Weinberg-proportion tests study binary outcome an SNP on basis case- control-subject data. both measures, derived exact formulas to compute p values. We also developed obtaining empirical values with resampling procedure. Results simulation studies real-disease demonstrate proposed than traditional model. type I error probabilities our were well controlled.
