摘要: Abstract The preparation of composite adsorbents for fluoride anion was performed from natural cow dung and impregnated by a solution calcium iron salts. These starting materials were dried carbonized at 300, 500 or 700 °C 2 h leading to Cow Dung Carbon (CDC) Ca–Fe Impregnated ICDC. All these carbons used as adsorbent in removal studies. Batch mode experiments using CDC ICDC conducted which the varied linearly function contact time, pH, dose, initial concentration, temperature interfering anionic species. Both kinetic isotherm based models checked applicability present sorption system onto For carbonization 300 °C, doping with Ca Fe increased defluoridation activity. most efficient carbon prepared 500 °C. It showed activity 15 mg g−1. This made renewable without need chemical activation. However, recycling F-loaded may be carried out washing alkaline solution. analyzed scanning electron microscopy X-ray diffraction order understand reasons their excellent capacity. growing plants requires consumption essential inorganic nutrients such Ca, Mg, P are known fluorophilic elements adsorbents. After ingestion digestion ruminants, some remained then corresponding where they acted scavenger. exceptional capacity allows use rural countries.
