摘要: Acute subdural hematoma (ASDH) is a serious traumatic disease, and predictive methods for growth are necessary to decide whether emergent operation necessary. This study aimed evaluate the incidence of “leakage” using computed tomography angiography (CTA) in patients with ASDH identify its prognostic value. Sixty-seven were examined CTA (mean age 64.1 ± 20.6 years; 24 men) by analyzing two serial scans (CTA phase delayed phase). We defined positive leakage sign as > 10% increase Hounsfield units (HU) region interest. Hematoma expansion was determined plain CT after 24 h who did not undergo surgery. Of 67 patients, conservative therapy administered 35 patients; these 9 showed expansion, 8 (88.9%) signs. The sensitivity specificity signs no-surgery group 88.8% 76.1%, respectively. All found within 4.5 h injury; showing negative decreased tendency towards injury. Patients presenting had poor outcomes. results indicated that sensitive predictor outcomes ASDH. If small but sign-positive, strict observation aggressive surgery may improve
