Causes may be chemical or infectious. study for common microorganisms and Chlamydia trachomatis being performed at Posadas Hospital since 1995, a progressive form. The objective this was to know epidemiological situation last five years (1999-2003), describe variations detected between two periods, 1995-1998, 1999-2003. It observed no change about C. prevalence (8%), during all time population studied. With regard it showed decrease second period (36.6%) with respect (52.4%). Likely, causes due changes sample collection conditions, variations. frequent found were: Staphylococcus aureus 69 (27.6%), Streptococcus pneumoniae 68 (27.2%), Haemophilus influenzae 64 (25.6%).
