摘要: This review provides a discussion of the current state research on linear carbon structures and related materials based sp-hybridization atoms (polyynes cumulenes). We show that such systems have widely tunable properties thus represent an intriguing mostly unexplored field for both fundamental applied sciences. discuss rich interplay between structural, vibrational, electronic focusing recent advances future perspectives carbon-atom wires novel hybrid sp-sp(2)-carbon architectures.
