摘要: Abstract Various types of compounds, such as barbiturates, insecticides, food antioxidants, and synergists, were examined for their effects on the cytochrome P-450 mixed-function oxidase activity insecticide-resistant susceptible houseflies. Phenobarbital, butylated hydroxytoluene, triphenylphosphate, among others, found to increase level induce microsomal activity. Compounds piperonyl butoxide trichlorophenyl-2-propynyl ether, which exhibited synergistic with Baygon against resistant houseflies, markedly repressed inhibited Two CO-binding pigments seven strains flies studied. Six showed a Soret peak at 452 mμ, most strain had characteristic 448 mμ. Inhibitors P-448 elicited spectral shift from mμ but did not affect characteristics P-452.
