摘要: We compared intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) and plasma exchange (PLEX) in the treatment of 50 patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS). Standard outcome measures did not differ for two groups. Sixty-one percent PLEX-treated group 69% IVIG-treated improved by one disability grade at 1 month. The complication rate was higher group. conclude that efficacy IVIG GBS is comparable PLEX it can be used safely, although we had a small number patients. observe relapse IVIG. usefulness combination therapy unknown this time.
