摘要: (1)From the dorsal surface of toad (Bufo b. spinosus, B. marinus) optic tectum (OT), field potentials (FP) were recorded at 9 reference sites in response to electrical stimulation nerve (ON). The FP showed 4 main components, besides an initial deflection attributed axonal potentials: two negative waves N1, N2 (attributed postsynaptic excitatory processes) and positive P2, P3 inhibitory processes). responses across rather similar different individuals. (2) Electrical area ipsilateral pretectal lateral posterodorsal posterior (Lpd/P) thalamic region evoked tectal FPs showing mainly a wave. Regarding wave amplitudes, displayed disproportionalities sites. (3) contralateral Lpd/P whose disproportionality corresponded roughly one obtained stimulation. (4) inital ON was nearly abolished, if preceded delay 17–25 ms. (5) Since adaptation repetitive stimulation, various experiments carried out distinguish phenomena from effects neuronal interactions between OT. (6) results provide evidence that ON- Lpd/P-mediated inputs interact superficial layers, whereby pretectotectal input suppresses retinotectal information transfer. Input OT suggests inhibition. This study provides no about deeper which anatomically are known exist.
