摘要: Epigenetic regulation has become a key focus of neuroscience and biopsychiatry, implicating DNA methylation, histone modification other epigenetic mechanisms in various CNS disorders. Animal (experimental) models are useful tool for studies. Although most such research been performed rodents, the zebrafish (Danio rerio) is rapidly emerging as new promising model organism neuroscience. These fish particularly suitable genetic studies due to their fully sequenced genome, easiness analyses high physiological homology with humans. Here, we discuss mounting evidence functions zebrafish, outline future directions translational this field.
