摘要: Compared the effectiveness of discriminating attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) subtypes using Parent Rating Scale (PRS) and Teacher (TRS) Behavior Assessment System for Children (BASC) Report Form (TRE) Achenbach Child Checklist (CBCL). To determine extent to which these scales measured similar behaviors, Pearson Product-Moment Correlations were computed parent (PRS CBCL) teacher (TRS TRF). Results indicated that correlations significant a number scales. Discriminant analysis does not suggest strong advantage either measure in differentiating children with ADHD from those who do meet criteria ADHD, except BASC TRS has better predictive ability criteria. For specifically ADHD: Predominantly Inattentive subtype, however, results would favor use PRS TRS.
