This diagnosis often overlooked in adult patients who present symptoms suggestive Imaging evaluation aids establishing the diagnosis. We evaluated imaging findings seven known annular pancreas. Methods: Seven abdominal had one or more following studies: upper gastrointestinal (UGI) series, computed tomography (CT), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). All underwent subsequent laparotomy as part routine care. Surgical were correlated each patient. Results: UGI series suitable for demonstrating different narrowing at level pancreatic annulus. Contrast-enhanced CT useful visualizing directly complete partial tissue. ERCP particularly annulus duct coursing around duodenum. Conclusions: plays pivotal role avoiding surgery confirmation its cost risks.
