摘要: Abstract Recent research has clearly demonstrated the important role that psychopathology and other psychosocial factors can play in chronic low back pain disability (CLBPD). The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether diagnosed is a significant limiting factor successful rehabilitation patients with CLBPD. One hundred fifty-two CLBPD (97 men, 55 women) were given structured psychiatric interview for official DSM-III-R diagnosis upon entering an intensive 3-week functional restoration treatment program. All assessed presence Axis I clinical disorders II personality disorders. They subsequently tracked 1 year after program completion, outcome being defined as return-to-work status at 1-year time period. Results that, though more than 90% obtained least one diagnosis, 50% neither type nor degree significantly predictive patient's ability successfully return work. These prospective results suggest if appropriately manage psychopathology, case program, then does not have interfere outcome.
