摘要: As health care systems and providers move towards meaningful use of electronic records, the once distant vision collaborative patient-centric, interdisciplinary plans care, generated updated across organizations levels may soon become a reality. Effective planning is included in proposed Stages 2–3 Meaningful Use quality measures. To facilitate interoperability, standardization plan messaging, content, information terminology models are needed. This degree requires local national coordination. The purpose this paper to review some existing standards that be leveraged support development patient-centric care. Standards then applied case demonstrate one method for achieving interoperable documentation. Our pilot work suggests provide foundation adoption implementation consistent with federal requirements.
