摘要: Coumarin is a plant secondary metabolite responsible for the health-promoting properties of Melilotus officinalis herb used in traditional medicine treatment lymphedema and chronic venous diseases. The aim this study was to analyze possibility honey enrichment with coumarin derived from sweet clover (Melilotus) two different ways: herb-infused production. Herb obtained by feeding bees sugar syrup enriched M. water infusion, whereas herbal macerates multifloral were prepared crushed flowers (fresh dried) albus at 20 °C dark place 6 months. nectar (n = 14) as control. Using HPLC analysis, highest content (from 41.33 137.89 mg/kg) its precursor o-coumaric acid 6.57 to 25.15 mg/kg) flowers-infused found. contains 4.48 mg/kg first time, compound determined Polish (0.05 0.88 mg/kg). addition enhanced antioxidant activity (measured FRAP, DPPH PCL methods) infused-honey comparison (control) honey. weakly correlated activity. It found that only can be proposed natural safe remedy diseases prevention.
