摘要: We demonstrate a wearable electronic bracelet for monitoring of alcohol lifestyle through the detection ethyl glucuronide (EtG), metabolite ethanol associated with consumption, from human sweat. The device leverages disposable nanoporous polymer substrates that easily wick small volumes sweat over sensors electrodes. A gold working electrode fabricated on flexible substrate is functionalized EtG specific monocolonal antibodies using thiol based chemistry, as well potassium ferricyanide redox molecule. When exposed to in pooled sweat, and analog binding sensing results chemiresistive changes surface can be quantified square wave voltammetry (SWV). Varying doses was thus reported electronically by measuring response peak currents. Detection demonstrated range 1–100 μg/mL analog. Similar dose discrimination shown 1–10000 μg/L corresponding one or more U.S. standard drinks. Validation sensor performance done cyclic electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
