摘要: Approximately one third of all motor vehicle crash fatalities in the United States involve alcohol-impaired driving. For this study, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) analyzed data from 2010 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System survey to obtain prevalence, episodes, rates From a peak 2006, such episodes decreased 30% through 2010. Men accounted 81% with young men aged 21--34 years accounting 32% episodes. Additionally, binge drinking was strongly associated driving; 85% driving were reported by persons who also drinking. Episode nearly four times higher among not always wearing seatbelts compared seatbelts. It concluded that self-reported have declined substantially recent years. However, remain disproportionally high men, drinkers, those do wear seat belt.
