Iron(III)–phosphonate complexes

摘要: Abstract The Fe(III) complexes of methylphosphonic acid (MPA), Fe 2 (CH 3 PO ) ·3H O, and aminomethylphosphonic (AMPA), FeOH(NH CH ·H were prepared in solid state obtained as fine powders. In aqueous solution, both ligands form a complex with 1:1 to ligand ratio the proposed structures for these are monodentate protonated [FeO–PO(OH)CH ] 2+ deprotonated chelate [FeO –POCH NH , respectively. These results permit evaluation chemical bonds involved glyphosate, ( N -phosphonomethylglycine, PMG) formula FeOH( − OOC–CH –NH  + –CH –PO  2− )·2.25H O is proposed. While phosphonate moiety always metal ion, amino group remains not coordinated. carboxylic PMG only coordinates state, solution. Infrared spectra Al(III) Co(III) also presented compared complex. Elemental microanalysis, UV–Vis, atenuated total reflection–Fourier transformed infrared (ATR–FTIR) spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma (ICP) emission spectrometry, AAS X-ray powder diffraction used characterization complexes.
