摘要: The prevalence and clinical characteristics of neonatal candidemia are poorly understood in western China. aim our study was to evaluate the epidemiological features Liuzhou Maternity Child Healthcare Hospital. A retrospective case-control conducted between January 2012 November 2015. Electronic databases were reviewed data on Candida species isolated from blood cultures incidence, risk factors, mortality extracted. Univariate multivariate logistic regression analysis performed identify factors associated with candidemia. During 4-year period, identified 69 newborns, for an incidence rate 13.6 per 1000 admissions. Prolonged antibiotic therapy duration [odds ratio (OR), 95% confidence (95% CI) = 1.06, 1.01–1.10], total parenteral nutrition [OR, CI = 6.03, 2.10–17.30] neurodevelopmental impairment (OR, CI = 7.34, 1.18–45.80) all increased odds development infants (P value 0.010, 0.001, 0.033, respectively). overall 7.2% group. therapy, presence major This highlights importance early detection, diagnosis treatment
