摘要: Plant extracts with their enriched chemical constituents have established potential alternative mosquito control agents. In this research, we developed an eco-friendly mosquitocidal agent from Alangium salvifolium leaves against the dengue and Zika virus vector Aedes aegypti investigated its biosafety on aquatic predator Toxorhynchites splendens. Results showed that methanolic extract of A. was composed by eight main compounds, major peak area for hexadecenoic acid (21.74%). LC50 LC90 values calculated Ae. fourth instar larvae were 104.80 269.15 ppm respectively. The tested at 100 ppm decreased α-β carboxylesterase SOD ratio significantly upregulated GST CYP450 level. displayed significant repellent adulticidal activity 100 400 ppm treatment led to 210 min protection bites. Four hundred parts per million 98% adult mortality within 30 min treatment. Lastly, assays Tx. splendens toxicity lower if compared cypermethrin-based treatments. a maximum 47.3% rate concentration 1000 ppm, while 0.7 ppm cypermethrin achieved 91.3% Overall, our study enhances basic knowledge how improve natural larvicidal agents harmless responses non-target predators.
