摘要: Abstract Background Coronary artery disease (CAD) represents the most common cause of morbidity and mortality in Czech Republic. The aim this study is to analyze long-term cardiovascular diseases (CVD) mortality, identify predictors outcome validate Framingham risk function men from Design methods A 20-year primary prevention atherosclerosis factors 1417 Prague aged 38–53 years was launched 1975 (STULONG). Results When analyzing CVD heavy smokers had hazard higher than non-smokers light ( p =0.0432), university-educated lower elementary-educated =0.0006). In 1980–1984, age specific STULONG =0.0132) Republic, 1985–1994 insignificantly lower. underestimated absolute 10-year CAD across quintile Conclusion STULONG, significantly associated with known (hypertension, smoking, hypercholesterolemia, education); CAD.
