摘要: This research was conducted to identify myths and misperceptions about HIV/AIDS barriers risk reduction among heterosexual African-American Latino-American men women in Houston, Texas. Sixty four 69 women, aged 13 59 years, participated 10 11 focus groups, respectively. Each group audiotaped, transcribed, analyzed using theme domain analysis. The data confirmed the existence of both groups HIV/AIDS, specifically that HIV is an agent genocide, suspicion government information, belief one can risky partners by odor appearance, partners' reported histories are accurate, significant as meaning "safe sex" (particularly women), specific classes people (not including oneself) at for HIV. These strongly suggest concentration on narrow targeting misinformation common particular minority populations important development prevention programs.
