摘要: We assessed the efficacy of a Spanish-language HIV/AIDS and HIV testing video as substitute for comparable orally-delivered information in healthcare non-health care settings Spanish-speakers regardless health literacy level. In non-inferiority clinical trial, Spanish-speaking Latinos from an emergency department, clinic, community-based organizations were randomly assigned to receive orally or video. Comprehension was measured using questionnaire. Of 150 participants, 39 % met criteria lower 75 % previously had been tested HIV. Mean scores on questionnaire (20.4; 95 % CI 19.5 ~ 21.3) arms (20.6; 19.7 ~ 21.5) similar (Δ = −0.15; −1.4 ~ 1.1). among participants also (18.3 (video) vs. 19.6 (in-person); p < 0.30). This is viable information.
