摘要: A review of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) prevention educational materials distributed at Title X-funded family planning clinics in Virginia revealed a poor fit between the reading level and literacy intended audiences. The mean 112 brochures on HIV analyzed was grade 9.9. 29 aimed minority women had 9.1 while 12 for adolescents 8.3. clients as group specific target populations were calculated from data collected 566 23 clinics. This analysis indicated that attainment 18% is below required to read materials; this equates total 14500 women. If it assumed actual two grades lower than completed years schooling figure escalates 39% or 32221 proportion whose equaled exceeded specially targeted 6% among 16% adolescents. Greater attention readability urged.
