摘要: Purpose This study presents successful maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation using telescopic and crowns on zygoma implants as abutments. Materials methods Fifteen patients received 36 zygomatic 24 dental were followed-up for an average of 65 months (range: 13 to 102 months). Machined positioned classically in the maxillary molar region. In larger defects, premolar canine also used. Follow-up included implant success parameters well completion Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP14G). Results Seventy-three percent during period did not encounter notable complications after rehabilitation. There was 89% cumulative 8-year survival rate a 100% implants. Three losses occurred due overloading persistent infection; each immediately replaced. Five successfully osseointegrated had be removed two recurrences disease; one patient died. Peri-implant bleeding plaque index scores decreased. After treatment with electroplated gold or galvanotelescopes, all who participated follow-up declared function (i.e., retention, speech, mastication) esthetics having improved. Other positive aspects mentioned good hygiene, comfortable usage, decrease sore spots. OHIP 25 +/- 12 scale 0 (no impairment) 56 (maximum impairment). Conclusion Within limitations this (a variable evaluation period), it observed that are reliable retention prostheses. Losses diagnosed occuring primarily from chronic infection overloading. A trapezoid prosthesis design support is recommended sufficient number
