摘要: Abstract A retrospective, multicenter, Scandinavian study of bone grafting alveolar processes severely atrophic jaws in combination with implant insertion was conducted 150 patients. Five different techniques were assessed: local or full onlay; inlay; onlay/inlay grafts; and LeFort I osteotomies. The majority the patients treated using a one-stage approach (n=125) all had autogenous grafts. total 781 Branemark implants inserted, which 624 placed grafts bone. Twentyfive (17%) dropped out during follow-up period three years. Within remaining patients, 77% inserted (n=516) still function at end period. further ten kept mucosacovered, resulting an overall survival rate around 80%. Onlays, inlays osteotomies showed almost same success rates (76–84%), whereas technique gave rise to less favourable results (60%). Most observed losses (n=131) took place healing first year loading. More lost when they simultaneously (23%) than second stage (10%). latter used mainly onlay (16/25). failure percentage for non-grafted (11%) lower those (25%). surviving followed served, 88% cases (n=110), support fixed bridges overdentures, albeit, some instances (n=23), after additional placement. In only 15 it necessary fall back on conventional removable prostheses partial bridges.
