摘要: In some patients, bile ducts of segments 2 and 3 (B2 B3) run caudally to the umbilical portion left portal vein (UP)--an infraportal course. We aimed evaluate frequency clinical implications this variation. Between January 1992 October 2000, 108 patients underwent resection for hilar cholangiocarcinoma. The records 6 with hepatic were evaluated. An B3 was diagnosed in (6%). No patient had an B2. could be demonstrated by computed tomography (CT) before biliary drainage, percutaneous transhepatic or endoscopic cholangiography, portography after drainage (PTBD) via CT PTBD B3. Four (4/6) a liver bridge covering Rex's recess (B3 not bridge). incidence 75 comparable 9/75. conclusion, common radiologic methods are sufficient diagnosis abnormal anatomy. presence over is suggestive Separate reconstruction branch mandatory extended right hepatectomy tract cancer may necessary transplantation 2+3 grafting.
