摘要: INTRODUCTION: This paper reports, for the first time, presence of Rhodnius montenegrensis in State Acre, Brazil.METHODS: Two female R. were collected a dwelling rural area Rio Branco, Brazil.RESULTS: The occurrence this species was confirmed, and number Triatominae Acre increased from four to five.CONCLUSIONS: Further studies should be performed reach clearer understanding ecology arthropod, its possible role transmitting Chagas' disease rangeliosis, current geographical distribution region.
