摘要: A new damage index to estimate buildings relies on construction costs per square metre, and a replacement ratio which approximates relative the cost of replacing median-sized family home. Building is estimated against five-point scale with Central Damage Values at 0.02, 0.1, 0.4, 0.75 1.0 cost. expressed as in House Equivalents (HE) = Replacement Ratio x Value. The Index log(2) ( HE) provides simple 0 - 20 covering total less than 1 HE gt million HE. For all natural hazard impacts Australia DI 12. Where only data available are lesser quality Generic or Qualitative Indices (GDI QDI) can be used. various advantages limitations discussed. Language: en
