摘要: Abstract Reverse osmosis experiments have been carried out using very weakly negatively charged cellulose acetate membranes and made from sulfonated polysulfone which cation—exchange properties. Experimental solutions consisted of hydrophobic surfactants inorganic electrolytes. The rejection the decreases markedly as concentration electrolytes increases reaches negative values at low pressures. volume flow in presence also decreases. A membrane polymer/substrate interaction, e.g. adsorption, is proposed to account for this effect more pronounced with ion—exchange membranes. However, c.m.c. levels solution, surfactant it appears be related a change activity.
