摘要: The acute effects on airway function of smoking one cigarette a tobacco substitute 'New Smoking Material' (NSM), conventional tobacco, and containing 70% 30% NSM, were studied in 6 healthy nonsmokers smokers. None the cigarettes produced any change three tests small-airway (flow-volume curves, closing volume, frequency dependence compliance). However, either or NSM/70% an fall specific airways conductance, similar degree with both cigarettes, whereas 100% NSM no such change.
