摘要: New bio-based epoxy resin were prepared by blending with acrylated epoxidized (AEPO) palm and cured a Phenalkamines Cardolite NX-2003D hardener. The various amounts of montmorillonite nanoclay (MMT) at 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 2 phr incorporated in the - AEPO blend to improve mechanical thermal properties epoxy/AEPO resin. samples an oven 25 °C for 3 h post 80 6h. properties, morphology as well water absorption epoxy, epoxy/AEPO/MMT nanocomposite studied. obtained results showed that incorporation 0.5 MMT increased tensile strength modulus stability confirmed intercalated structure matrix. finding proved loading was sufficient
