摘要: Recycled PP contains various impurities and has poor variable mechanical properties compared to virgin PP. This, in general, rules out the use of recycled original applications other high-value applications. Hence, this study investigated effects polymer matrix type, weight fraction wood flour organoclay on thickness swelling water absorption behavior based hybrid composites. WPCs polypropylene (virgin recycled), flour, maleated (MAPP) were made using melt compounding subsequent injection molding. Composites from (rPP) exhibited better dimensional stability (vPP) ones. Besides, did not completely encapsulate at 50 % fraction. Incorporation nanoclay a beneficial effect both by creating tortuous path as result its characteristic barrier property. The improvements hygroscopic characteristics composites rPP further supported scanning electron microscopy X-ray diffraction methods. Conclusively, post-consumer can be used value-added without accepting expense separating polymer.
