摘要: By means of their efferent projections to motor and premotor structures, the cells in deep superior colliculus are intimately involved behaviors that control orientation eyes, pinnae, head. These same receive multiple sensory inputs, thereby apparently enabling an animal orient its receptor organs response a wide variety cues. This convergence also provides system which responses need not be immutably linked individual stimuli but can vary reaction multitude present environment at any given moment.
