Superior colliculus: control of eye movements in neonatal kittens.

摘要: Activation of the neonatal cat superior colliculus can produce organized eye movements before visual stimuli are capable activating neurons in colliculus. These findings consistent with hypothesis that movement development precedes, and is necessary for, visuomotor integration.
