摘要: Eukaryotic ribosomal proteins are highly conserved across widely divergent species, suggesting that strong functional constraints prevent divergence of important amino acid motifs. Using this as a basis, an evolutionary approach could be used to identify putative We obtained the DNA sequence protein L18 from protozoan parasite, Trypanosoma brucei. Analysis showed it had 46% and 43% identity with human yeast sequences, respectively, 30% residues were identical all species analysed. these data, acids essential structure function can inferred provide valuable information for molecular modelling mutational studies.
