摘要: Adrenocortical steroids may influence susceptibility to rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Serum levels of adrenocortical in female RA patients not previously treated with glucocorticoids were reviewed this paper, as controlled cohort studies predisease (pre-RA) and control (CN) women. dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS) lower most reports premenopausal-onset the baseline one study pre-RA females compared CN subjects. The versus difference was confirmed an independent laboratory. Basal DHEAS cortisol correlated oppositely women, suggesting relative androgenic insufficiency case Clinical observations androstenedione premenopausal also reported subjects who had values. In summary, a minority decreased steroid exhibited adrenal androgen-to-cortisol imbalance.
