摘要: During recent years, synthetic aperture radar SAR data have been increasingly used for flood mapping. New satellites especially, such as TerraSAR-X, Radarsat-2 and COSMO-SkyMed, provide high-resolution with high potential fast reliable detection of inundated areas. This article compares three simple approaches to derive water areas from in relation the German–Vietnamese project, Water-related Information System Sustainable Development Mekong Delta WISDOM. Two methods are pixel based use histogram-based grey-level thresholds, well a homogeneity criterion classification. The third approach is object applies characteristic attributes objects grey value, texture relations neighbouring objects.
